To some extent, every bedroom electronica musician is a nerd–perhaps they assemble their instruments, write their software at home,or just implement cheesy but danceable beats.  Mux Mool, then, is the emperor of musical geek tomfoolery.  Born and raised in Minnesota, Brian Lindgren (aka Mux Mool) moved to Brooklyn and has been criss-crossing the nation ever since.  He blends uncountable types of electronic music into an infectious, seamless whole.  Listen for snippets of glitch, instrumental hip-hop, chiptone, and IDM.  The best way to prepare for this summer: reformat your mp3 player and only load “Get Better John.”  Repeat for three months.
