Records of the Week

You’ve probably had enough with the year-end lists already . . . don’t worry, we have too.  But this one is important.  These are the best instrumental songs of 2009.

By whatever trick of fate, many solid albums didn’t make Nowlikephotographs’ 2009 album countdown.  They are, however, graced by withering glitch beats, swelling saxophone drone, or face-melting crescendos that we couldn’t get out of our heads.  All year.
