pg.lost – In Never Out

December 2nd, 2009 · No Comments

PG.LOST ON MYSPACE / PG.LOST ON THE BLOGOSPHERE

pg.lost recorded In Never Out in a house surrounded by pheasants.  Literally.  According to Wikipedia, pheasants are avians of uniquely strong sexual dimorphism, meaning that the physical difference between males and females is strikingly noticable.  This dimorphism maps perfectly onto the Swedish quartet’s latest effort; with their patient lows and boisterous, unexpected flights of reverb, pg.lost can show off their plumage like proud-chested animals or lie waiting for trouble to pass.  Without a doubt, In Never Out is one of the most dynamic post-rock albums released this year and a strong sophomore showing.
