OFFICIAL WEBSITE / CASPIAN MYSPACE
What hasn’t been said about this album? The entire community of instrumental music fans has been awaiting its arrival; some might even say that Caspian’s third release was well overdue. Although Tertia has been criticized for its mixing and mastering, the Massachusetts five-piece has mastered the art of dynamic tension and release – especially in their live sets. Two new guitarists drive the crescendos, and when the silence is practicably intangible and intoxicating. Did we mention that Tertia was released by The Mylene Sheath record label? If it was possible to have a crush on a record label, The Mylene Sheath would be outlined in hearts on our math folders. To hear more from Caspian, listen to the Nowlikephotographs podcast.
