our station’s biannual fundraiser, was a huge success this spring. we made our goal of $30,000 thanks to listeners like you that supported the station and nowlikephotographs. thanks so much for your donations! if you forgot to mention NLP in your comments when you contributed, please let us know who you are at chrisandjoe[at]nowlikephotographs[dot]com and we’ll make sure to ship out a t-shirt to you as a thank you gift (let us know what size you’d like!).

we also had our second wordless music series event at the southern theater last week featuring stars of the lid, eric jacobsen, and christopher willits. it was sold out in advance and people were calling/showing up trying to get on a wait list – that’s how nuts it got. it was definitely worth it too for anyone who managed to catch the show: live drawings, photo slideshows, visual projection craziness going along with each act, all in the beautifully elegant setting of the intimate southern theater. big thanks go out to all the people that made the event possible – we’re looking forward to booking another band for the summer or fall to do this again. we’ll keep you updated on that of course.

also, due to both joe and i being out of town to see our friend’s band play their cd release show in nyc, the podcast featuring a track from the drift‘s fantastic new record will be up tomorrow-ish with yet another brand new nlp podcast. sorry for the delay, but it will be worth it.
